March on the Mushroom Farm: What's Growing, What's Glowing, and Why Spring Is Our Favorite Season

There's something about March in Southern Oregon that just feels alive.
The rain has been doing its thing (classic Oregon, right?), the hills around Coquille, are the deepest shade of green you've ever seen, and inside our grow rooms? Pure magic. Flush after flush of beautiful, healthy mushrooms — and honestly, I couldn't be more grateful.
I started TLaaF Mushrooms because I fell completely, embarrassingly head-over-heels in love with fungi. What began as a wild experiment in our spare bedroom has turned into something I genuinely never expected — a little farm, a real community, and people who actually look forward to their monthly mushroom deliveries. That still blows my mind every single time.
So what's happening on the farm this month? I'm so glad you asked. Let me take you on a little tour.
🦁 Lion's Mane is Having a Moment
Our Lion's Mane is absolutely thriving right now. These gorgeous, cloud-like clusters are some of my favorite things on earth to grow — they look like something out of a fairy tale, and what they do for your brain? Equally magical. If you've been thinking about trying our Lion's Mane capsules, honestly, now is a great time. We have a solid supply and they're going out fresh every order.

🦄 The Oyster Crew is in Full Effect
Pink Oysters, Blue Oysters, Golden Oysters — the grow rooms are basically a work of art right now. Oysters are one of those mushrooms that people fall in love with the first time they cook them. They have this delicate, almost velvety texture that holds up beautifully in a hot pan with a little butter and garlic (or just olive oil if you're keeping it dairy-free). If you've never tried sauteing a Pink Oyster until the edges go just slightly crispy... you are genuinely missing out on one of life's great simple joys.

🐾 Your Pets Deserve Some Love Too
One of the things I love most about this community is how many of you are buying mushrooms for your fur babies. Whether it's sprinkling Lion's Mane powder into your dog's food for cognitive support or giving your senior pup a little immune boost with Oyster mushroom capsules — it genuinely warms my heart. Our capsules are 100% organic, no fillers, no additives. Just pure mushroom goodness that's as safe and clean for your pets as it is for you. (As always, check with your vet first — but the feedback we've been getting? Pretty amazing.)

✨ Something Enchanted is Coming...
Okay, I've been sitting on this and I am SO excited to finally whisper it to you...
We are adding Enchanted Mushrooms to the TLaaF family very soon. 🍄✨
I can't share every detail just yet, but I will say this: they're going to be something really special. Whimsical. Wellness-focused. Grown with the same love and care that goes into everything we make here at the farm. If you've ever felt like mushrooms were already a little bit magic... just wait.
Want to be the first to know when they drop? Follow us on social and keep an eye on your inbox. You won't want to miss it.
🌱 Fresh Flushes Are Almost Here
Mark your calendars — we're expecting fresh flushes by the end of March! That means if you've been waiting to grab fresh mushrooms, now is the time to get your order in. Lion's Mane, Oysters, Chestnuts — grown right here in Southern Oregon, harvested at peak freshness and shipped straight to your door. There is truly nothing like getting a box of just-harvested mushrooms delivered to your kitchen. The smell alone is worth it.
🛝 Come Find Us at the Farmers Market!
Spring means farmers market season is right around the corner, and we are so ready. There is nothing in this world quite like setting up our little booth, watching people's eyes light up when they see the Pink Oysters for the first time, and getting to chat with our neighbors and friends face-to-face. It's honestly one of my favorite parts of this whole adventure.

We're currently planning our market schedule for spring and we can't wait to share the dates with you. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram so you're the first to know when and where we'll be popping up. If you're local to the Coos County area, come say hi — we'd love to put a face to the name and maybe hand you the most beautiful mushroom you've ever seen. 😊
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of the TLaaF community. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or just found us last week — every order, every message, every kind word means the world to us. We grow these mushrooms with love, and knowing they're landing in your kitchens and nourishing your families (fur babies included) makes every early morning and late night absolutely worth it.
Here's to spring, fresh flushes, enchanted things, and mushrooms that make life a little more magical. 🍄✨
With love from Southern Oregon,
Jamie Lynn, Chris & TLaaF Mushrooms family(doggos)
